Here’s one I designed last summer. It’s based off of a medieval design, inspired by some of my grandmothers tapestries. I am waiting on the right application to use this one……I know when it’s right, it will scream at me to pick this up and use it. Until then it’s a fun pattern that I think worked out very well.

There I was struck by the wonderfully organic and ethereal forms of the sea kelp and jelly fish; which have manifested themselves in my illustrations below. Enjoy!

With their new store filled with delicious sugar treats including those fabulous marshmellows is I am pleased to say the continued use of a success Robots Love Cupcakes icon featured in vinyl on their store window. It’s great to see when a design is proved successful with the honor of continued use by clients. Thanks again ladies good to see the little fella is serving you well.

I am having lots of fun making signs, getting to know the fun folk, and creating unusual things like translucent vinyl decoration for a large, glass emergency exit. I know it doesn’t sound glamorous, but I think it turned out pretty good. The premise of the design was to interpret the Boma fence, otherwise used in Africa to ward off lions, into something stylish and screen like across these otherwise bland glass doors in the Predators exhibit. Well I was up for the challenge and here are the results. I think in the end it worked to transform the space from waiting room to zen.

I have been a busy bee, in the making of my first promotional piece. A little something for the creative agencies. My aim was to make a piece that would be interactive, sell my skills and hold a cd with a sampler of work to show….a teaser if you will. The other major factors is that this one was all on my $$ and cutting abilities to produce. So, that said I was reduced to digital printing processes, and my craft knife! Eeeck what a prospect. Still I think the results turned out pretty good. The final design is basically a glorified cd holder, with a turning wheel that shows a new message in the two cut out spaces inside, not to mention some cool illustration; care of my own dear hand. All in all, not bad for digital printing, and a little bit of ingenuity. Plus it really allowed me to show off my developments in illustration, creative thinking and typography.  Fingers crossed that my efforts here bear good fruit….ie a job prospect; can’t wait to get started!
